New course proposals SPN 6908, SPW 6971, AND SPN 6946 were approved unanimously by the committee. New course proposals SPW 6939 and TSL 6248 were approved unanimously by the committee pending the addition of the ADA statement and the Honor Code. The MBA, MAC, MTAX, and MS Music Business Admission Policy Revision was tabled because the requirements for admission need to be clarified and reworked. It was recommended that language be added to state the competitive nature of these graduate programs; meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. The changes regarding NGR 7661 and NGR 7850 were approved unanimously by the committee pending the addition of the ADA statement. The Memo regarding Advanced Holistic Nursing Track was approved unanimously by the committee. New course proposals NGR 6168, NGR 6169, NGR 6260, NGR 6261 L, NGR 6262 L, NGR 6263 L were approved unanimously by the committee. The Memo regarding the new Track in Gerontological Nursing and the New Program Catalog Description were approved unanimously by the committee. The New course proposals NGR 6252 and NGR 6252 L were approved unanimously by the committee. The 6 Change Forms regarding Prerequisite Changes and 10 change forms regarding Course Terminations were approved unanimously by the committee. The Memo regarding Academic Program Termination was approved unanimously by the committee. It was proposed that future University Graduate Programs Committee meetings be held at 2:00pm instead of 1:30pm, to accommodate Ben Lowes teaching schedule. This was approved unanimously by the committee. The committee discussed the Provosts memo regarding the Revised Course Syllabus Policy. It was decided that Susan Fulks will be posting a link to the memo on the GPC website.
