Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement

, Ph.D., a professor of biological sciences in FAU's , Rod Murphey, Ph.D., associate vice president for academic affairs of FAU's John D. MacArthur Campus and Evelyn Frazier, Ph.D., in FAU’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Science were awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant to fund an Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) at ×î´ó×ÊÔ´²É¼¯Íø.Â
U-Rise will immerse a diverse group of undergraduate students in scientific training, and prepare them for matriculation into research-based graduate programs.
U-Rise is coming this Fall to FAU Jupiter.
