2026 Memorial Day Extreme Owl Fit Challenge

On May 22, 2026, at 7:30 a.m., 最大资源采集网, Division of Student Affairs, Campus Recreation and Military and Veteran Student Success teams sponsored the grueling 2026 FAU Memorial Day Extreme Owl Fit Challenge at Campus Recreation and Army ROTC Building T-11. During this "MURPH style" fitness event, participant teams of three members were required to run 1-mile, complete 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats, immediately followed by a finishing 1-mile run in a timed competition. Those who desired the most challenge wore 20-lb weight vests. The Memorial Day fitness event was organized and led by Captain Esau Davis, U.S. Army, FAU ROTC, TALON Battalion, and Assistant Director Sarah Metscher, Campus Recreation, who brought together students, cadets, ROTC instructors, and alumni to the challenge!
